In 1982 after serving 4 years in the Air Force, I came back to Arizona to join my Father's company, Mike's Pool Plastering. My father, Mike Fong, was extensively taught his trade in the 1950s by my Grandfather. Mike Fong worked in the swimming pool industry in various locations across the United States and after gaining years of experience, he decided to open up a division for his employer here in Arizona.  He became licensed himself in the mid 1970s and Mike’s Pool Plastering was born. I worked for my father under Mike’s Pool Plastering for 13 years running the renovation division that he created.

    In 1994, I decided it was time to get licensed as a General swimming pool contractor and concentrate on pool renovation.  I listened to my father’s wisdom and decided to stay small and manageable so that I would not diminish the quality and personal touch that we love to deliver. In the last 30 years we have quietly remodeled thousands of pools in the valley. Our quality speaks for itself as referrals keep us going strong with limited advertising.

    My son, Michael Fong Jr. has joined our family business after serving 12 years in the Marines/Army. Michael has chosen to do what he is also passionate about, the Family Tradition and providing honest quality work to our customers.
